Basics Of Umpiring

Research shows that good umpiring enhances a players enjoyment during a match ten-fold. In an aim to facilitate the education of more officials across the county, several courses have been set up in an exciting joint venture.

Designed to help during a 5-10 over stint of umpiring on game day, the 'Occasional Umpire' resource contains the umpiring basics ranging from the key Laws to basic field craft. Use this resource as you wish, view it once or return frequently throughout the season to refresh your knowledge.

This resource is free for you to improve the game day experience for yourselves, your teammates and your opposition! It is fully online based and should take one hour to complete.

You should be 13 or over to register for this course. If you are under 16, parental permission must be obtained.
